Get Rid of Acne NOW

i left my acne face wash on too long and my face is red! How do I tone it down?

I use the same acne wash every day twice a day for at least 6 mos. I left my face wash on for 10 mins treating it like a mask. When I rinsed my face, it was bright red like a sunburn. Any suggestions on how to help this situation?

A wash is not the same as a mask, that’s probably why your face is irritated. Washes are not designed to stay on your face for longer amounts of time because the chemicals and other ingredients in them are too harsh. Put some moisturizer on your face to help with the redness. If you need extra hydration, you can use plain yogurt as a face mask.
